10 jQuery plugins for better user interface

Numerous designers have been working with jQuery when it comes to effects on their website. Following is a list of jQuery scripts and plugins to help you improve your website’s user interface.

1. jqModal

Flexible and tiny jQuery plugin to display notices, dialogs, and modal windows in a web browser.

2. jQuery horizontal accordion

Transform any unordered list into a horizontal accordion menu with this jQuery plugin.

3. EasyDrag jQuery plugin

Make any element on your webpage draggable, easy to use and to install.

4. jQuery style switcher

Allow your users to switch stylesheet and change the look and feel of the website with a single click.

5. Minimalist Drag & Resize

A lightweight jQuery plugin that allows you to do resize and drag elements.

6. Ajax File upload

File upload handled with jQuery, quite useful.

7. jQuery confirm

This plugin displays a confirmation message in place before doing an action.

8. jQuery News ticker

A news ticker that sequentially iterates though items in an unordered list, showing the current one and hiding the previous one. If you the mouse is currently over the ticker, it will not change to the next item in the list.

9. jEditable

Normal flow is this. User clicks text on web page. Block of text becomes a form. User edits contents and presses submit button. New text is sent to webserver and saved. Form becomes normal text again.

10. Table Editor

Flexible in place editing of HTML tables.

  I would like to say, jQuery has given new developers a life in this recession period serious speaking I mean it.

  Since using jQuery what not can be done, can be done everything and in few minutes.
